These are all 3D printed kits. Finishing the kits will require sanding, some assembly and paint. Also required are trucks, weights and couplers. It is compatible with Micro-Trains trucks and 1015 type coupler.
Decals are provided as shown on the image above. Also included are Norfolk Southern decals for a car that is nearly identical to these cars. These are Alps printed decals and should have a clear overcoat applied to protect the decals.
The model is very light. It is recommended that you either add a load or glue tungsten weights to the underside of the chassis. 1/8″ weights make a good start. Pinewood Derby Car Tungsten Weight 1/8″ Cubes should work but may require removal of under body details to get sufficient body weight.
The body is one piece with all handrails, ladders, and brake wheels in place.
The pulpwood bed will require sanding to achieve a smooth surface. There are bumps because of support sprues required for printing the model.
Once painted the part will become more brittle.
Priming is not necessary as the surface bonds strongly to paint. Priming may also obscure some of the finer detail.
